Up to September 25th 2022, Nationaltradesmen.co.uk has had over 3 million visits to the site and over 200,000 job postings, gradually growing through organically attracting more users and followers through social channels and organic search’s.

Nationaltradesmen.co.uk was founded by Gregory Nelson in 2013, after beginning life as a dissertation project at UCS while he was studying there for a computer science degree.

The site now ranks number one for tradesmen’s news and second for tradesmen’s jobs on many search engines giving tradesmen and women a platform to advertise their business and find work or find workers, along with providing a valuable source of knowledge through the forums.

The site evolved from just a platform for those in construction industry to find work as contractors and also for companies looking for workers to cut out agencies, which many in the industry see as an unnecessary middle man when looking for tradesmen’s jobs.

This approach has seen the site grow from just a job finding service, to a news and reviews site, forum and business directory for all those in the construction industry.

The site is still growing with more and more specialist categories and skills being added to our database to make it easier to find specific workers with the specific skills and CSCS cards to match particular jobs.

The construction news and reviews articles have now grown to over 10,000 published stories, which can be leveraged for apprentices and fully qualified workers within the construction industry.

Workers looking for work once registered can also update their skill sets as they move forward with their careers we now have over 5,000 types of construction skills and are constantly expanding our database from crane drivers to carpenters we have room for everyone and if your particular trade is not in one of the dropdown lists we can add it you can nationaltradesmen.co.uk/contact-us/

Gregory Nelson, Founder of Nationaltradesmen.co.uk, said: “From just a small website providing business to business contacts for tradesmen and companies we now have now grown to be a fully fledged news, recruitment, directory and advertising platform all in one place”.
