Network Rail engineering train catches fire

A engineering Network rail train has caught fire while working in Kent on Friday morning near Dunton Green station.

Six fire engines from the local Kent Fire and Rescue fought to contain the blaze for two hours near Dunton Green station.

The railway lines between Orpington and Sevenoaks were blocked and Network Rail is now working with the emergency services to determine the cause of the blaze.

Kent Fire and Rescue commented saying that: “There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire has not been established.
