Do apprentices need a CSCS card and where do you get one.

From what I’m reading you can only apply for one if you are on a registered apprenticeship. but these are free from the CSCS website so don’t be fooled into putting your details onto other websites that want to charge.

If you are looking for an apprenticeship try to ask local companies if you can go and help for free from a couple of days to get to know someone within the company they will be more likely to take you on if they know you.

You can also enrol on a course at your local college to show you are committed to your chosen trade.

You can also register on our site as an apprentice so employers can find you and your CV and as you work though your career you can change your status form employed to self employed as you progress.

    To register on nationaltrdesmen https://nationaltradesmen.co.uk/submit-resume/

The CSCS card link and information is on the CSCS website here https://www.cscs.uk.com/news/supporting-apprentices-with-free-cscs-cards/
