Buyer – The Company:
Our client is a leading and successful residential main contractor with an established reputation within the South West market and beyond. Typical projects are large social and private housing proejcts consisting of 3,,4,5 bed houses ad apartments.
Buyer – The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join the regional commercial team based in North Bristol. This position will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with site teams.
Typical duties & responsibilities:
* Negotiate and purchase materials with key suppliers within a multi site environment.
* Produce cost analysis and ensure costing forecasts are adhered.
* Raise purchasing orders.
* Monitor suppliers and ensure performance targets are reviewed against KPIs
* Procurement lead on construction projects.
* Scheduling materials, raising orders, cost analysis to expediting delivery.
* Materials and sub-contract procurement
Buyer – The Person
* You will have solid experience with either a national or regional main contrazctor or residential developer
* Demonstrable experience in a dedicated Buyer role
* Innovative – ability to identify better ways of doing things
* A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
