The Client
Our client is a thriving M&E contractor. They operate across a variety of sectors; residential, student accommodation, leisure, education etc. They are looking for a non-working Electrical Foreman to work on a sizeable, new-build residential project based in Manchester city centre. Work set to last until 2028.
Must have ECS card.
The Role and its Responsibilities
* Overseeing the installation of electrical services on site from ‘cradle to grave’ by monitoring trades and sub-contractors
* Ensuring progress is maintained to programme
* Representing the client on site by being first point of contact to trades and sub-contractors
* Regular reporting back to management highlighting any areas of concern etc.
* Inspections – Checking installation quality
* Walking the site floors to be a visible & accessible presence.
The Individual
A successful candidate needs to work well under pressure and be a confident team leader and member.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, experience working on residential projects is a bonus – they are looking for a supervisor or foreman who has overseen the installation of electrical services on a new build project from ‘cradle to grave’.
Skills and Qualifications
* Valid ECS card or similar
* Appropriate electrical qualification
* City & Guilds 18th Edition
* Current H&S knowledge
