They say charity starts at home well not fro JCB they have donated a whopping half a million dollars worth of equipment to help the devastated Philippines and by the pictures on the media looks like they need it.

British digger maker JCB  responded to the Filipino typhoon disaster with the incredible donation of machines and generators worth more than $500,000 are to be sent over  to help  assist in the aftermath of the catastrophe.

This is not just a PR stunt as JCB are giving genuine help to those who need it as the company is sending three 3CX backhoe loaders to help with the  clear up operations following Typhoon Haiyan which was one of the most powerful storms ever recorded on land and which has left an unknown number. The JCB diggers backhoes will be deployed in clear up operations in the province of Tacloban City which was the worst affected part of the hurricane hit.

Well done JCB for reacting quickly.
