Hanson – Brick and Block App

This is a good idea not so long ago I was struggling to find the correct brick so here the solution and a bit more by the sounds of it an app that lets you take a picture and match it to the existing Hanson range.

The app designed for builders and developers , is easy to navigate and makes it simple to find the right product for your project, and includes a number of other useful features.
The brick selector function allows you to choose your product by size, colour, texture, brand or type of manufacture, with the results showing an image of the product as well as full technical details.
Hanson’s Thermalite aircrete blocks and aggregate blocks can be selected by product or application. The results give full technical details and the option to share the information or download a datasheet.
The app, which is available for iPhones, iPads and selected Android devices, includes a brick matching facility which allows builders to take a photograph of existing brickwork and view it against Hanson’s extensive range.
Other features include an option to request samples, estimate brick and block quantities, find your nearest Hanson stockist or contact the correct sales office direct.
Paul Lacey, head of sustainability and marketing at Hanson UK, said: “Our new app will allow builders to search for brick and block product information on site, find the product they need and even search for their nearest stockist.
“It will save them time by allowing them to quickly and easily make their product choices and share the information with their colleagues and clients at the touch of a button – all while they are on the move.”
